Text Box: Ph.D   Admission Test
Ph.D admission test consists of  two papers.
Paper-I:
Common for all except Faculty of Science:
Syllabus same as that for UGC NET Paper-I (50 Questions, 1hr duration).
Faculty of Science:
 Part-A: Syllabus as per CSIR NET exam. (25 Questions), Part-B: Syllabus as per UGC NET Paper-I  ( 25 Questions) ( 1 hr duration)
Paper-II:  Syllabus for Paper-II of  UGC NET examination. (1hr 30minutes)
Since  no MCQ examinations are conducted in the Ph.D admission test, candidates are advised to follow the syllabus  of UGC NET  Paper-III (Paper-II of CSIR NET) core subjects. Candidates are required to note that  paper-II of Ph.D admission test  will contain only two sections.  Section –I  will contain 10 short answer type questions (10x5=50 marks) and Section-II will contain 2 long answer type questions with internal choices (2x25=50 marks).  .
