Bio Note | A poet, translator, literary critic and academician Pradeep Trikha has a number of books and more than sixty papers, articles, and reviews on literature, bhakti and Sufi poetry culture and history. Trikha has written several monographs on contemporary writers and has conducted extensive research on medieval bhakti poets such as Baba Farid and Meera Bai. He has travelled widely for academic assignments. He is a Visiting Faculty at the British Seminar, University of Muenster, Germany. He has delivered lectures at the University of Washington, Seattle, Harvard University, Boston, USA and is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Sydney, Sydney since 1999. He has also been a fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla. His well-received books are Delphic Intimations: Interviews with Australian Creative Writers & Critics (2006). Celebrating Multiplicity in the Plays of Girish Karnad and Literature, Nation and Revolution: Celebrating the 150th year of 1857 (Ed.), Dynamics of Cultural Diversity his latest book is Meera vs Meera. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal on Art, Culture and Museum Studies, Objet-d-Art and Sukhadia University Journal of English Literary Studies. Presently he is a Professor and Chairman Faculty of Humanities & Committee of Courses. Associate Dean, University College of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Director, Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC), Director, International Students’ Affairs at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. |
